Introduction

Being in a vicinity of the world famous Temple of Tooth, our alma mater has always been a dominant institution which produced personalities enriched with manifold talents and discipline. Thus the G.P.C is a new avenue for our students who are hungry to take up challenges and dominate among the best of the best. The margins which were meant to isolate our motherland from the rest of the world are no longer existing. Hence to flourish the ultimate glory of the spirit of “RAJANS” across the blue ocean to the global arena,for the first time in our school history  an International club has been formulated. Thus the “GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP CLUB” was initiated under the guidance of the school headmaster Mr. S.M. Keerthirathne, the staff co-ordinator Mrs. Chethika Samarajeewa together with Mr.S.U.B. Ekanayake the sectional head of the Science section, Mrs. Gaya Kulathunge representing the junior section of the school and Mrs.Sakunthala Bandara representing middle and the senior sections of the school in collaboration with the British council of Kandy.

Global Partnership Club News

Club Objectives

1. To promote the local talents of students to the Global Arena.
2. Providing an opportunity to broaden the International Understanding.
3. Promoting the mutual co-operation and peace with different nations all overr the world.
4. Providing the students with an opportunity to communicate and broaden their knowledge on different Cultures spread through out the World.
5. Creating oppportunities for the students to develop good friendsips with the peers from different nations.
6. Uplifting the status of the school in Global standards and bring honour to the alma mater.
7. Co-ordinate functioning of the Junior and the Senior sections of the school unlike the other clubs and performing projects together with them.
8. Providing a stage to Promote qualities such as Leadership, decision making,collective effort,unity and the sense of Responsibility.
